What is causing my dizziness when I move my eyes or head?

I need to fix this "out of it" feeling in my head without having to go to the doctor.  It started two weeks ago with just a basic cold & cough.  The cough has lingered and I've treated it with guafenisin, psedoephidrine and antihistamines as well as saline rinses in the nose and lots of vitamin C.  I can deal with this.  What I can't deal with is this unbalanced bobblehead feeling when I move my head or eyes.  This is new to me and It's keeping me from living my normal life!  Did the virus get in my ears?  Wouldn't my ears hurt if it was an infection?  None of the meds give relief.  My blood pressure is a tad higher than usual but other than that, nothing is different.  If I go to a doctor, I need to know which one because I don't want to be spinning my wheels & wasting time.  As of two weeks ago, I have no health insurance because my company said they couldn't afford the premiums and when I called Humana and they quoted me what it was, I could see why!  Anyway, I need to clear my ears & sinuses I guess though I am breathing just fine.  Any other ideas?

Hi,
You might try going to an ENT (a doctor that specializes in ear, nose and throat issues). I've experienced sinus infections that felt a lot like a bad cold, and then turned into an inner ear infection (w/Vertigo symptoms). I needed antibiotics to help clear up the infections. I'm not sure if you're experiencing the same thing, that's why I suggest seeing a ENT for treatment. Hope you get relief soon!
