Which came first, the weeds or the cold?? :)

I am almost 50. I am addicted to sleeping with breath rite strips and have been for years as Im a mouth breather and one side or the other always slams shut.  They help a lot!  About 3 months ago I noted that if I layed in a certain spot on my right side Id get vertigo-so I just chalked it up to my BPPV and laid in other spots mostly on my left ear (where the orginal BPPV was 13 years ago). Also one night after the cold while laying on my right side I noted when I woke that there was fluid coming out of my right ear-no pain or symtoms (symptoms), no odor, it only happened that one and my ear hole felt narrow, but I dismissed it as there were no symptoms. About month and 1/2 ago I had a BAD headcold-7 days of non stop blowing with nothing coming out, nose totally slammed shut on both sides, nothing helped-not steam or vics or anything (I dont do decongestants and havent for over 25 years-the last tie they made me crazy hyper and anxious)-I just had to wait it out, but I blew my nose to the point it woudnt blow no matter how much air I forced (never had that happen before), once I got my nose back this was followed by 3 weeks of bronchitis (yes Im a smoker but have cut waaay back). 8 days ago our weather changed to less humid and it was cooler out and as I live on a farm I was thrilled to throw open all the windows and get outside and work with the ponies. (this is FL where the humidity is thru the roof 1/2 the year so when it drops it drops 20 pts and its GREAT!)  I went to put on my riding helmet, first time in months and it hurt my head, but I dismissed that. I noted that the normal bur making weeks all had little yellow flowers and I was also swarmed with moskitos.  Later that eve I develped a pretty bad headache, both the front of my forehead and the back of my neck.  I kept taking motrin and it kept coming back.  This went on for 3 days, no other symptoms just this gawd awful almost migrane (migraine) type headache but I was still fuctional.  By the 3rd day I was thinking perhaps it was a bra problem or a shoulder problem so I reduced myself to 1 pillow.  (I HAVE HAD BPPV since a bad horse wreck that included a broken neck, but the worst of the BPPV cleared after the first 2 years following the wreck, tho I still have to be careful not to lay flat etc.)  Well the next moring I woke up and tried to sit up as normal and the room started spinning (vertigo).  IT WAS BAD-hadnt had an attack like that since my wreck.  I had to work myself up on pillows till I could finally sit up...and I didnt lay back down for 16 hours, it was that scary! (and Imexpereinced in having BPPV)  Over the next several days I was relegated to staying in bed, (sitting up or reclined on 3-4 pillow and only getting up if I had to as my balance would go to hell. NO SMOKING in that room tho I did continue to smoke a little in another room!) Tho the vertigo upon waking that day was the worst.  I propped myself up on 3 pillows to sleep. Headache pain became more localized behind my right eye, right forehead and if I moved a horrible pain on top of the right side of my head. Also the back of my neck a little.  Ive been on .05 xanax for 20 plus years and that is a HUGE help with the vertigo and the anxiety it causes.  I also started taking some benadryl and motrin and doing major saline nose squirts.  If I had a fever I dont know tho I did have chills for about day and 1/2.  Walking at first was bad, causing that pain in the top of my head.  Each day a little better but still felt like I could feel each step in my head like my head was filled with fluid and each step reverberated. I did peroxide in my ears too-which I do every now and again. I fired up the humidifier and the air cleaner in the bedroom and the air felt so much better!  It rained a couple days and I opened the window in there and that also felt good. Bending over was not an option-got the serious weehaas and whooohooos as I call them. ;)  Yesteday the headache went away, but I woke up with a brand new pain/sensation. My right ear hurt like anything and feels full.  I also feel weak and run down.  Pain also radiates a little behind the ear and into my jaw a tad-nothing horrid but Im aware of it.  I got some similansan for earache and it works better than motrin-kills the pain FAST. WOW good stuff.  Today Ive been able to bend over a bid, still walking a bit sideways and helps to close my right eye and grimace when walking. (ya I look scary! LOL)  But I still feel like Ive been beat to hell, run down and I got up and sat in the living room for the first time. (huidifier but no air purifier out here and I feel more congested in the nose-the ear is staying the same-stuffed n painful) I feel like Ive been run over by a truck tho I didnt feel this way after the cold which in some ways was so much more worse. I have not seen a doctor as Im not able to (Im agoraphobic and cannot leave the property and was not about to sit in an ER amoungst car crashes and heart attacks with an ear ache plus the idea of being in a car makes me nauseous at the sheer thought of it!)) and tried to get one to make a housecall, no such animal apparently. :(  So Im getting a Z pack from a good firend and its what my Doc used to give me. I cannot take amoxicillian as they make me soo sick.  I rarely take antibiotics...Ive had 2 zpacs in the last 8 years.  So....Im curious,, as I dont want this happening again.
Was/is this allergies?? (I did look up our pollen count for the area and weeds have been high to very high except the days it rained but I dont know WHAT weeds-I do live rural)
A sinus infection??
A ear infection??
All of the above-one led to the other?
Did the cold start all this??
Why do I feel so weak and cloudy and spacy even with no fever?
And why the GAWD AWFUL vertigo when I went to one pillow-was this the BPPV or due to above or combination as I NEVER want to wake up like that again, I thought it was the end of the world for the first 2 minutes.
Well...as I write this I await my antibiotics....and hope they do the trick as the last 8 days have been AWFUL!  Im not looking for every hypo to moan after this post as Ive read some of these board and they read like hypo heaven.  If some of yall were horses Id shoot ya. ;) ;) ;)  What I want is a smart conversation as to...which came first, the allergies or the sinus, or the BPPV or the cold...or did the cold-that was a month and 1/2 ago, lead to this???  I DONT want a repeat. :)  I will let yall know if the antibiotics work...I SURE HOPE SO.
