My son has just had an ear tube and adenoidectomy done. He has had allergic reactions to two different antibotics, and it is believed that antibiotics are given too much to children. The medication that has been prescribed by his doctor has a warning about possible stomach and intestinal problems that could appear even months after he takes the medicine. what should we watch for if we do not give him the antibiotic, to know that he is not getting an infection from the atenoidectomy?
