adnoids???

My son is 2, had tubes put in hs ears 6 months ago. Since then, he has had serve drooling problems, as well as bad snoring at night. We went to see the specialist, and he said that his adnoids are fine. Ppl keep telling me to go see another doctor, b/c its not normal that he snores as loud as he does, and that he may end up with a sleeping disorder????

has anyone checked his tonsils? how does your little one sleep. I know when my now 9 year old was 2 hw had his adnoinds out due to the fact htey were always getting infected. aafter that anything Dillan ate that was bigger then the tip of my pinky would come right back up. he saw another ENT (the one that did his adnoids felt uncomfortable seeing him due to the fact that he ended up with a throat infection after the adnoidectomy and the doctor felt it was the doctors fault. Dillan was pretty sick with that) away one ENT said DIllan was fine and we went to see another he said Dillan's tonsils looked fine and then asked how he slept. I told he he "grunts like" and it disrupts his  sleep but doesn't wake him fully up this happens about 12 times per night. he said that was a sign of sleep apnea and he asked if he snored. oh yeah he did. tonsils came out and he has been fine. his tonsils were actually larger then they looked
I would say go and have his tonsils looked at. Sleep apena isn't soemthing to mess around with either

Thanks for your reply. He did have his tonsils looked at, they say that they are fine. He has had only 1 throat infection. He snores very bad at night, he does wake up as well. But the doctor thinks that he will grow out of it. Who knows????
