I was using it for my allergies my sinuses were so congested it was making my teeth and face hurt so bad and giving me a clogged ear with an ear ache. It did seem to help some but now she wants me to not use it for a couple of weeks to see if that was causing my nose irriation she said some people have that problem from using this product. So if it was the problem not sure what they will use for my allergies. It's always something lol. Good luck with your congestion the Flonase might help.
Flonase, is that for nasal congestion? I have tried it for chronic night time nasal congestion... it "sort of" works. Has it worked well for you, bump aside?
I love Afrin, but it can not be used more than a few days in a row. I have pushed it too far and have suffered some rebound. I understand Flonase/Generic does not risk "rebound".
She said a bump and it is on the inside toward the front inside wall of my nose. I can't feel it when I put my finger up my nose only feel it when I scrunch my nose up or wiggle it. My dr also suggested not using my Flonase for a week or so that it might be causing the soreness and bump haven't used it in 2 days and starting to feel a little better. Thanks for the reply
Did your doctor say what it is, bump or pimple? How do you feel the bump? Is it in the area between the outside skin on your nose and the air channel, or is it against an inside wall of you nose?
Your bumps may be the same as my ear lobe experience. I often have a bump in my ear lobe and while it doesn't bother me much I find myself squeezing the ear lobe with my fingers to feel the bump.
These sometimes just go away, must be my body absorbed them, other times they ulcerate and spew "goop" on my neck. It seems they always break through the skin on the neck side. My doctor wasn't impressed and seemed to confirm my diagnosis of it being a pimple, a very large pimple in some cases.
Yes, I know you are have a problem with your nose, not your ear, but I suspect these may be more similar than different as far as skin problems are concerned.
