On occasion I get a slight thumping sound in my ear.I have seen a ENT specialist about it.I attribute it to seasonal allergies and nasal congestion.Anyway I've had it for years off and on and nothing has come of it.I also regularly have appts. with cardiologists ect.
However you should have it checked to ease your mind.
FOR THE LAST PAST 6 WEEKS I HAVE BEEN EXPERICING A LOUD, BUZZING, INSECT SOUND IN MY LEFT EAR. EVERY DAY EVERY 2 MIN. AND IT LAST FOR 30 SECONDS. I WENT AND GOT A HEARING TEST, EVERYTHING WAS OK JUST WAX BUILD UP WHICH WAS CLEANED OUT. HAVE TO SEE ANOTHER ENT ON THE 17TH. IT'S DRIVING ME CRAZY. IT'S MESSING WITH MY EYES AND I FEEL DIZZY, SLIGHT.
I also get that annoying buzzing in my ear at night, not during the day and more pressure and headaches during day. I went water skiing and it seemed to start after that and I probably did take some water into the ear that may have caused an infection. It does not seem to be going away to I am going to go to doctor to see if they can prescribe something, very annoying at night.
I have a buzzing feeling in my left ear but it feels like water is there and also like a really low motorbike engine..i also get pressure in the left side of the head and headaches all the time. I'm not sure what this is it could be an ear infection but im worried it might be something worse.
The first part of my post cut off - but it ust explained that I had a low humming in my ear suddenly one evening and a feeling that the prssure was wrong in my ear.
It was still there the following morning and drove me to distraction throughout the day, That evening I bought some decongestants - the brand I used was Sudafed, and the next morning the buzz was completely gone. I had no other symptoms of a cold or cattarrh, etc. A few weeks later, again out of nowhere, my left ear suddenly felt weird, with that familiar feeeling of the pressure being wrong in my ear. There was no buzzing this time but the sensation was the same. I reached again for the Sudafed (which I had not touched since the last time) and within a couple of hours of taking a single tablet the sensation ceased and has not been felt since. Again I had no other symptoms at all, if I had a cold or something I could understand but I had nothing. Just thought I'd post this incase it helps anyone. I think there are various causes of the ear hum, and a simple decongestant is not going to fix it for everyone but if your symptoms sound similar to mine it may be worth a try.
I had only one vibration in my left ear and i want to know what it is. You people said it happens to you constantly, how come i only had one or do is it every hour, second, day? Can someone tell me please?
