chronic fluid behind eardrum
For two years I have been suffering with this problem in my right ear. For some reason my ear fills with fluid and does not drain. The result is constantly hearing my eardrum under water. I have been to both my primary doctor and ear specialist. Both say there is nothing wrong (which defies logic) and to take decongestion meds like claritinD and mususnex with veramist. Well nothing is working and I lose many nights sleeping because of the constant drumming in my ear. Does anyone know what this might be? My doctors are dismissive and I really don't think they realize how awful this is. Please can anyone help? I am at my wits end!
