commom cold and throat pain

i very often get cold and throat pain?what could be the reason for it?

Hi,

Recurrent cold and throat pain would be because of allergic conditions of the nose or chronic sinusitis. If you have nasal allergy (symptoms like sneezing, running nose and nasal block) then you need to use topical steroids and antihistaminics to reduce the symptoms. If you are having features of sinusitis (recurrent cold, nasal block, nasal discharge, headache and throat pain) you need to take mucolytics (such as bromhexine/ambroxyl), saline nasal drops, steam inhalations and drink plenty of warm water.
