do you think this is Meniere's diease

do you think this is Meniere's diease

I am worried I have meniere's disease. I have like very slight dizziness everyone in a while and its not like the room is spinning...its like my brain is moving...its hard to explain. but it doesnt happen like everyday but for the oast 3 months i have had it every month. but i cant tell if i was dizzy b/c i was thinking about it and i was worried about.  i have occiaisonally like rinning in my ear but it last like 2 seconds and then fades out..but i think thats pretty common right? but before i was getting dizzy every month...i wouldnt get dizzy for like months in between like maybe twice a year....im soo worried i have this diease. and i am worried b.c the last 2 times i was dizzy it was raining. and they said that meniere's disease can be triggered by barometic pressure.

so here r my symptoms:
dizziness ( not spinning) and onyl happens a few times out of the year
dizziness is only when i move my neck up or down and hold it there for a while. when i move my head back up its fine
some ringing in the ear but nothing that lasts or is annyoing.

someone please help!

Possibly beginning of Meniere's or BPPV;BPPV is more common.  I would be consulting an ENT specialist to rule out what is going on.

Keep us posted.

BPPV is more common then Meniere's.  After reading your post, it does not sound like Labyrinithitis to me. Now remember, these are JUST hunches.  Like I stated, BPPV is more common.

Secondly, Please go back to the ENT and have him/her do some vestibular testing to give you a proper diagnosis.  One of the hallmark signs of Meniere's is low tone hearing loss.

Thirdly, please try to stay calm and positive until you get a proper diagnosis.

Keep us posted;all the best!

I think you should rule out any inner ear/vestibular problems.  Did you have problems with anxiety before all this started happening?  Vestibular problems can cause anxiety too.

Hey!  I have been reading your posts and it is so funny cause you sound just like me.  I am 36 years old and healthy but, I have this dizziness/off balance feeling that hits me now and again and has for the past 15 years.  Last week I was sure I had Menieres but, went to my ENT and he doesn't think so.  They did all the vestibular tests and they pretty much came back normal.  I am now seeing a neurologist and he did a TRANSCRAINIAL DOPPLER and is doing an MRA (MRI of the blood vessels) tomorrow.  My symptoms are as follows:  Brief episode of TOTAL VERTIGO followed by days of dizziness and being off balance.  I feel like I am walking on marshmallows.  It is definitely worse depending on my position - i.e. looking down, bending my head back.  Or when I am in a store and look from shelf to shelf.  It is good to know I am not alone in this.

Neck problems can cause the symptoms you are having too.  I would rule out if it is something vestibular first then go from there.
