I don't know what it is in your case, but in mine it was apparently a skin condition. The moist condition resulted in outer ear infections which were prevented by the use of antibiotic ointment.

However, some years ago I started adding liquid trace minerals to my drinking water. (I would fill a gallon jug of filtered water and add one tablespoon. I kept the gallon jug in the refrigerator.) I noticed after many months that the ear conditions cleared up and I developed normal wax. The minerals also improved my skin and the calluses disappeared from my feat. All this took quite some time, but the results were excellent. You might try it. If for nothing else, it will improve your health.
