fluid behind eardrum

just found out i have fluid behind my eardrum..did anyone have it and have the sound u hear from a seashell like where u can hear the ocean..its driving me nuts..im guessing once the fluid is gone it will be too..although i can pretty much hear nothing, all my internal sounds, like chewing or brushing teeth are soo damn loud
