forehead pain above left eye

went to GP with pain above the left eye and pressure mostly on left side of head . Dr. said  he thought sinus might be impacted and gave anitbiotics and nasal spray .I have no drainage am not dizzy or have any other symptoms except a lot of mucos that goies down throat. Anybody have any suggestions about what may be happening am very uncomfortable with the head pressure he said that if the antibotics doesn't work will have to do a ct scan                      thanks for any help Shortyo1
