i have a funny smell in my head and taste but not all the time just when i lower my head or move it around, i have thick clear mucus sometimes when i blow my nose, my throat hurts and i get real dizzy and feel funny in my head , i feel like i got alot of pressure on my head, my chest is tight and i cough, no high fever just feel misrable and its really scare=ing me i dont know what it is and its freaking me out. could someone please tell me.

Stephanie, I can't and I doubt anyone else on these forums can tell you what you have.  The symptoms you describe are called 'non-specific'.  In other words, their presence does not really point to any one diagnosis.  This could be allergies, migraines, asthma, food insensitivity/allergy, virus... Probably the only way to get anywhere with this would be to see a doctor and have him/her get a more complete story and perform an examination...

i went to the dr and they told me i had infection on my throat and they tested me for the flu and didnt have it , well it started going away and now its coming back same symthoms as last time but it just seams to be more then just my throat. can you get all those different symthoms with just a throat infection?

People suffering from viral upper respiratory infections (very common) will complain of pain, sleepiness, possibly fever, cough, runny nose, tender neck glands, headache.  So in that sense, you could fit that description.  It's also not impossible to get over one infection and be exposed to a different one within a few days and get sick all over again.  What about your symptoms makes you think you have something different or more worrisome?

i think its the same cold it just didnt go away completely, but the dr. said it was a throat infection. can you get all those sympthoms from just a throat infection? i can smell and sometime taste this certain smell that wont go away sorta like that nasty yellow fleam, but its not yellow its clear, i can feel my sinuses burn, and my head feels like it has pressure on it but i cant get nothing to come out, ive been using saltaire nose flush, but nothing. the thing that scares me is i get dizzy and feel like im gonna pass out, sorta like hot flashes, which some of that my be my nerves i get real up set and panic sometimes, its just ive never had a cold thats in my head like this and it scares me cause people say if its something like fungail infection in my head it could kill me or it sounds like congestive heart failure so it makes me nerves. im realy ashamed to say this but ive have a craving for baby powder and ive been eating it for years, since my first kid, the dr told me i was lacking some kind of vitatams, but i sorta think maybe the dust of it has got into my sinues and i cant get it out.what do you think? i really need to know if it is cause its scary not knowing what it is and what to do. the dr said she didnt think it would do that, she went on the internet to see if she could find something about it and she said no its a throat infection, i hate to say it but i dont know if she knows the way she was acting, what do you think?
