inner ear noise

I have had a slight sound in my head almost like "white" noise machine that you can plug in to drowned out noise when you are sleeping. It's not that loud but that sound is all day long

could be in infection or sinus problems,,too much fluid or to lottle.
check into tinnitus and see if that sounds familiar

did you ever find out what to do about the noise? I have the same dang noise.....I had MRI last year, he said looks like i have less blood flow on one side of brain.  He had no idea about the noise, nor did he give me any help on what to do about anything.
Really tired of this noise in my head..
It cant be anything to do with ears!  Has to do with blood flow....thats the only thing I can think of...or worry about all the time!  
Guess I'm going back to doctor to make him look again!@
