Some time ago, I had a shooting pain under my jaw (same side) when I tipped my headHead and face reconstruction Head injury Head lice Indications of head injury Radial head injury back to wash my hair in the shower. It was from behind my ear, down my jawline. The only relief seemed to be to open my mouth wide and it would go away. This happened a few more times, always when tipping my head back. The Dr. said it was probably just pinching a nerve. Now it's happenning more frequently, just turning my head or talking. I get the shooting pain that is constant until I "stretch" by opening my mouth very wide.
