jaw, ear spasms

Background info, in case it's relevant, I had "Bell's Palsy" two years ago on my right side.  There are residual facial and eye issues, not serious.  I can feel slight numbness in my cheek and eye area.  I also get a tingly feeling in the back of my neck when I use the keyboard for long periods.  (yes, I'm a mess)

Some time ago, I had a shooting pain under my jaw (same side) when I tipped my head back to wash my hair in the shower.  It was from behind my ear, down my jawline.  The only relief seemed to be to open my mouth wide and it would go away.  This happened a few more times, always when tipping my head back.  The Dr. said it was probably just pinching a nerve.  Now it's happenning more frequently, just turning my head or talking.  I get the shooting pain that is constant until I "stretch" by opening my mouth very wide.

Any ideas?
