lump/bump just below earlobes on each side

I have had these two lumps for about 7 months now and just noticed a slight change in size in one of them.  They are located in the exact some spot but one is on the left and the other on the right side.  Just below my earlobes (not on or touching my earlobes) more like on my jaw line, there is lump.  I would say it's about the size of a dime and it has some puffiness to it.  They aren't sore or senitive, but annoying and are scaring my wife to death. I chewed tobacco for about 10 year or a little more and quit for almost a year now.  I was just wondering if you had any ideas as to what these lumps are connected to.  Are they my wisdom teeth that are probably infected and need to be extracted, is it cancer from chewing for all those years, or is a lymph node that is infected or something.  However, I doubt it is a lymph node becaause they aren't in the spot of a node.  Please help me.  Even just give me some guesses as to go about this.  I have no insurance and as many of you know I can't afford to go to a doctor to have it checked out properly
