nasal saline rinses

hello,

I'm wondering if using nasal saline mists more than four times a day can mess the nasal lining's ability to produce mucous properly? I don't want to hurt the inside of my nose and end up making it dry or unable to effectively produce what it needs to. Should I just leave it alone and not use the rinse?
