one thing after another - please help!

In the summer i had labrythitis for about 2 months. I never really recovered from this, i still constantly have migranes, ear and facial pain and neck pain. I have been to the doctor several times over the past few months and say that i have fluid in my ear and should clear. its been about 6 months and the pain is terrible everyday, i cannot life like this anymore. I have been on several different types of antibiotics to try and clear this but nothing works. I have had a hearing test and was told that my hearing has been affected I have been referred to an ENT doctor but i live in the UK and am on a waiting list to be seen. Do you know what is happening with me? What will the ENT docs do?

I agree it could be OME (otitis media with effusion), with her story bout the fluid in her ear.

The ENT docs may offer to drain it surgically and place tubes.

Labrynthitis occurs in the inner ear, OME occurs in the middle ear. I am not sure where you problem is.

Sounds more like OME to me.

An ENT will examine your ear to determine if tubes should be placed for serous otitis media with effusion:
