oral sex, lichen planus??

Ok here is the story, im a 42 yo old gay male that is in a long-term relationship (non-sexual at this point for over a year now; separate issue going on). At the end of Jan I decided to have unprotected oral sex with an unknown guy I met at a party, we both gave and received until completion in mouth (I know it was a stupid thing to do, but too late now). After a week I started getting itchy around the folds of the nose, but didn't think too much about it, in the following hours-days it started going down along my laugh lines on both sides and developed what looked like minor red patches that itched like crazy, and these patches would scale with flaking. At this point I was also checking the inside of my mouth every day but didn't see anything weird; about a week later (2 weeks after incident) I started noticing that the inside of my mouth, inner cheeks and bottom inner lip, has developed like a grayish-clear film; there are no sores and it doesn't hurt or itch, but I do notice that it has changed.

I have an infectious disease doctor as my primary care physician, I got treated for gonorrhea and chlamydia, I got tested for syphilis and HIV (both antibody and viral load) at 3 and 7 weeks which both came out negative both times. Doctor said my mouth (inside) was fine that nothing unusual even though I was pointing out the grayish-clear film; he said it was probably due to rinsing with Listerine, which I have always done about every other day without this problem until this encounter, so I know it is related. He was puzzled by the itchy rash on the outside of the mouth and just told me to alternate applying OTC clotrimazole 1% and acyclovir (rx). At the time I thought it was a mild case of oral herpes, but up until now it has not gotten any better, plus it's not the classical symptoms of herpes.

I went to a dermatologist who just said it was sebhorreic dermatitis and prescribed me desonide 0.05%. I know that you are to avoid corticosteroid creams on the face whenever possible because of the side effects, but I was at my wits ends that I'm doing it anyways, I use a thin layer once a day for about 4-5 days and after the first 2-3 days the rash and itchiness subside but comes back after about 3-5 days after stopping.

Sorry for the long post, but I have no idea what is going on; I have spent many hours searching online but cannot find anything similar to my symptoms. The inside of my mouth kinda looks like a mild form of oral lichen planus, and from what I've read the outside could also be lichen planus; the websites say lichen planus is not contagious, but I know I got this condition from oral sex.  I'm not saying it is lichen planus, only that it looks like a mild version of it.

Anyways I am planning to ask doctor to do a skin biopsy for the outer rash, and a dentist to check my mouth. I don't know what else to do, any ideas of what this could be.

Again I know I did a stupid thing, I confessed to my partner as soon as I got my initial HIV test result (at 3 weeks) as he had to know and I surely do not want to give him anything  (by kissing him).
