painful throat clicks when swallow!!!!

What is making my throat click on the left side across from my adams apple???  this only happens when I swallow. Very painful and hurt my inner ear too when this click happens. My tongue feels stressed out and like there is a foreign body sometimes pressing on my tongue way in the back. Drinking water has become a project and eating sometimes hurts too when i swallow. Not to mention only on my left side I have this chronic sore throat all these symptoms came on fairly quick and never went away and is getting worse!!! 5 ENT can't find proper diagnosis but all say that click is abnormal, no dah!!!

Sounds like your hyoid bone is displaced rubbing against thyroid cartilage; very rare, but that would be my guess.  

Any endoscopies and/or imaging of your throat/neck?  

Is it possible to have a specialist in NYC to assess you?
