I just had graft tympanoplasty on left eardrum. It had been getting a hard plastic like coating on the outside and the drum was weakened. I also have something flowing down my throat that seems to be coming from the left eustachian tube and may have been what was causing the buildup on my eardrum. This thing had completely blocked off ear canal and I had to put tremendous pressure on it to open it, when I did I got some fluid from ear canal that burned my earlobe and made it peel. I also am feeling a flow from the eustachian tube now that the eardrum is repaired. Have nausea, dizziness and imbalance problems. Could this be some sort of leak from inner ear causing my problems? Anyone had any experience with this?
