ruptured eardrum

Hello this weekend i ruptured my ear drum the er doctor gave me Neomycin and polymyxin b sulfates and hydrocortisone otic to use 3 times a day. I saw my the ear doc on monday and showed him the medicine and he told me to continue to take it. My concern is after reading the pamphlet it says not to use if u have a ruptured ear drum. So should i stop using this med? I tried to call my doc but he never called me back i am suppose to take it tonight but idk if i should?
