sinuplasty

I am having sinuplasty surgery next week. Has anyone had this surgery and were you happy with the results. I have not very much info but, my Dr is recommending because i have a chronic cough for three years and he sees that i have mucus build up in my sinuses and a blockage on the left sinuses. Hope I can get an answer by next week. thank you

Hi. I don't have firsthand experience but I posted a question on these boards late last year, on behalf of my sister. We did a lot of research and she decided the balloon sinuplasty was the right procedure for her. A lot of people on here came in w/ opinions one way or the other. But the basic idea is that if you are a candidate for the procedure that it is effective and with a much easier recovery than other surgical methods. This was the case w/ my sister as she had it done in February and was feeling totally fine the next day and no trouble since.
Best of luck to you next week.

Here is a way to avoid it altogether.

The Flip-Turn Sinus Flush is mildly risky, because you have to bend over to do it, preferably in a shower, but you can also do it outside on soft ground.
