sore throat:

i have had sore throat for 5 days. i have post drips in my throat . it hurts sometimes on the left side of my throat in sometimes the right side of my throat. i dont have fever or nothing with it. sometimes i gets headache with it. can you tell me what wrong

Sounds like a cold or allergies. I'd see a dr to diagnose for sure, otherwise there are otc meds for treatment.

If you have not yet seen a doctor.  You can try taking claritin, then gargle mouth wash.  This should take care of the sore throat.  What you have may be allergies.

It you mix a tablespoon of table salt with a half cup of warm water and gargle for a few minutes 3-4 times per day and before bed... you may notice a difference as early as the next day.  You may have to rinse your tongue with water but leave as much salt solution as possible on your tonsil area.  Also, blow your nose more often and throw away the tissues and wash your hands.  If your nose gets soar use ointment on the skin near the nose.  Any medication you can take to dry up the sinus is going to help in the long run.  Good luck... that is just my experience.
