swollen neck

I had an infection in my salivtory gland, you can feel a small/pain mass under lateral side of my mandible. I continue to have swelling and the CT done said I had a soft tissue density overlies the superolateral aspect of the right submandibular gland, but he feels it is a lymph node w/in normal limits. What should I do next? What should I ask my doctor to do? Last CBC was done 2 weeks ago and it was normal.
