I've been experiencing a very thick, white mucus-like coating in my throat for nearly a month now. I also have a similar white coating on my tongue as well. Anytime i drink or attempt to eat anything, it feel as if this thickness is blocking my food/drink from going down. Some days the thickness is stuck in the back of my throat and I am unable to cough it up. I have never had anything like this before and am wondering if there are any ideas as to why this is happening all of the sudden?
