throat clicking when swallowing

Having constant problem of throat clicking during swallowing when head is looking forward and turned to the left. Also can be felt with fingers placed on the throat. OK eating but present when drinking. Does not occur when head is turned to the right. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I was told by an ENT that the clicking is normal. Perhaps not what everyone experiences but normal, never-the-less.

If I remember correctly, the ENT heard this upon pressing upon my thyroid cartilage (which doesn't cover your thyroid), which is what we call, the Adam's apple.

A rare disorder that is no fun see link above for information concerning several patients who underwent surgery and were cured of the clicking once and for all.

I hate it. Two weeks now and no relief. No cause either.
