vein popping?

hi,
  recently i have had this problem .i told my doctor and she never heard of it.iam ascared that it might br bigger then i think. i have had this problem over an year ,i get an feeling of an vein pop and pain right away for a few seconds and goes away .i started of a once and a great while and soon became every other day  that i get this feeling and even sooner i have gotten it more then once a day , and started getting headaches cause of it.before it started i was on yaz birth control.me family started to notice yaz warning comercail  and bugged me about it.once i stoped taking yaz it soon enough went away. i want to know is this more then i think? should i get help asap?what is this ?can yaz prevent it? please help me.
