vocal cord cancer

vocal cord cancer

i am a disabled veteran of the vietnam era.  I was exposed to agent orange.  I have had vocal cord cancer and been operated on, and had radiation treatments.  Since then, my right ear has been giving me trouble and i am getting very hard of hearing.  The VA had denied my request for va benefits by saying the vocal cord cancer is not a part of the larynx, which they do cover.  I always thought that the vocal cords were part of the larynx.  Am i wrong?  Please respond.  thank you!

Sorry about your situation, Truely I'am, It really angers me the way the "VA" treats vets. Or should I say our "older" vets!!  How long go did you have the surgery for vocal cord canser??  nd may I ask what your symptoms were then??

Of course I'am just another poster, however of course I would believe there is a strong corralation betweenthe throat, vocals, larynx and ear tube, (I know thats not the proper name)

Do you have any other type of ins. Please respond!
