weird tooth ache

by aloha83, Aug 11, 2007 02:50PM
I have a lump next to the right side of my right nostril and when I touch it, I can feel a pain in a tooth. It seems like the lump is where the nerve starts. I can feel pain when I touch the upper part of my gums. It is also uncomfortable to smile and laugh. I had a toothache in this tooth a week ago and put a lot of anbesol on it. I don't know if that caused this lump. If anyone can help me, that would be great because now my dentist is suggesting that I get a root canal done but I don't think that will solve the problem.
