Can having sinuse problems, cause you to get dizzyness and a fuzzy head?

Well for the passed 4 weeks, on and off i have been getting dizzzy spells.. which either last a couple of hours to minutes.. usually at the same time, my head feels all fuzzy and i get a rushing sensation in one or both of my ears.. then it goes and i just get like a fuzzy head, which makes me feel really tired, with sinuse pains around the neck, eyes, check bones and around my nose and on my head..

its been 4 weeks of it.. and im getting worried.. i havent been out in 4 weeks, because of it.. and im starting to get upset and even cry

Oh sometimes i take the suedafed with paracentamol.. as i find this sometimes takes the pain and rushing sound away in the ears.. sometimes it takes the dizzyness away aswell. and it makes me feel abit better, but not always

also my out bursts of dizzyness tends to stay for a couple of hours.. usually about 3/4 hours and then it dies down.. and then it comes back usually the next day or in a couple of days later

My son has had pressure behind his eyes and in the back of his head for 1.5 years now.  This does cause him mental difficulties, brain fog, etc.  He has seen many doctors and just had his 2nd MRI with nothing being found.  he goes back to his internist in 2 days to see what course to pursue, but we thinking an EMT is the next step.  I have been searching this weekend and have found several references to some type of sinus or eart pressure that seems to be causign others to have thinking problems.

Did anyone ever comment on the "fuzzy headed" symptom?  I had a question along the same lines "feeling spaced out," and no one ever answered my question.  So I am asking if sinuses can cause you to feel "spaced out?"  I hope everything works out for you tycoon.

Thanks for advising me on what to do.

I was that bad on wednesday that my doctor came around to help me and see what i had.  She says that i have a sinuse infection.  So she gave me antibiotics to help clear the sinuses.  She also gave me stemetil to help with the dizzyness and sickness.

Since i been taking the antibiotics, i do feel slightly better.  I have a weeks worth of them, so next thursday i have another appointment with the doctor to see how I been.

Sinusitis and inflammation in the nasal cavities can cause problems with equalization of the middle ears (via the eustacian tube opening up behind the nasal cavity).  Eustacian tube dysfunction can lead to ear fullness, fluid in the ears, decreased hearing, etc.  You would benefit from an evaluation from an ent to examine your sinuses as well as make sure you are not having a simultaneous balance issue.  Best wishes.
