Having sinus surgery

I my ENT says i need sinus surgery,im not sure whats its called but there is blockage and some narrowing.My right side of my head hurts i have right eye pain pain in my right cheek,jaw and ear and into my neck.Does this sound like sinus problems,im having the surgery july 9 and on july 1 he is putting me on predissone and a antibotic (antibiotic) for 9 days before the surgery,Im very scared as ai have anxiety bad and my pshy is tapering me off my anxiety med, im afraid i will die from being asleep during the surgery or it will make my memoey worse,I am a 47 year old female, I had my septum operetated on back in the 90s,and my cat scans still show that my left side si crooked,so much for surgery fixing that...........anyways im just wondering if the pains im describing are normal sinis pains and if the surgery where he goes in and removes the bloaclage will stop the right sideed face pain? Its really affecting my eye.is this normal?
