Please help transcribing results..NEED HELP!

Hello! I just received these results from a CT scan. My family doctor says they mean nothing and to just take Clariton to reduce allergies from inflaming sinusus. Is this correct/. Any input on the below results will be greatly appreciated. THANKS STEVE!!!!

CONTRAST  ACCESSION #: 4246170 - CT SINUS

HISTORY: Sinusitis.

COMPARISON: None.

PROCEDURE: Thin-section CT images were obtained through the paranasal
sinuses. Coronal and axial images were generated.

FINDINGS: The frontal and sphenoid sinuses are clear as well as the
anterior ethmoid air cells. There is bilateral middle turbinate concha
bullosa. The osteomeatal complexes are grossly patent. No Haller cells
development, significantly seen. There is some rounded opacity seen
along both maxillary sinuses and the right measuring up to 2.4 cm and
left up to 14 mm possibly related to mucous retention cyst or polyps.

IMPRESSION: Bilateral maxillary sinus mucous retention cyst or polyps.
No air-fluid levels are identified. Bilateral middle turbinate concha
bullosa.

As you can imagine, viewing a ct scan is just as important as reading the report.  Words on a page don't do justice to viewing the actual films.  The main point is that the report states is that you don't have air-fluid levels consistent with an acute infection.  You should take steps to decrease any inflammation in your nose. Your symptoms should be monitored and you should be examined periodically or if symptoms progress.  Good luck.
