Swollen Tonsil

My right tonsil is swollen and has been for 2 months. The tonsil itself doesn't seem to hurt but when I yawn it is definately uncomfortable in my ear and sometimes when I swallow it is uncomfortable in my throat but nothing extreme. I was in to see my regular doctor in April and she did a strep test, which was negative, and also looked at my ears which she said there was a little fluid. She recomended a steriod nasal spray which I did not end up using because I was doing an IVF cycle and my rep. end. did not want me using it at the time. I also was taking dexamethasone for some antibodies while I was on the cycle and it may have helped a little (I honestly didn't notice, I had other things on my mind) I guess my question is should I be concerned that this may be something more serious since it is just one tonsil and it has been 2 months? Please any advice would be appreciated, I'm already a stressball from everything else and now this is weighing on my mind.

If one tonsil is significantly larger that the other, you should consider a close examination and possibly even a tonsillecotmy. While this can occur normally as a result of inflammation and infection, in RARE circumstances, it can also occur as a manifestation of lymphoma or malignancy.

my left side of my throat is hurting and their is one small clear blister i am not on any antibiotics also i have terrible heartburn and continously  belch could that be part of the problem ?  acid reflux. I have recently moved to the country and i leave my air on all the time. Please help me to find a sollution to my throat pain.
