Beeping in my ear

Yesterday I began to hear a beeping in my left ear (which also feels a bit clogged). The sound  occurs when I'm speaking loudly to normally, but not when speaking quietly or whispering. It also happens when I am listening to the television. At first I thought it was my phone battery-low signal because it sounds just like that, but when I put the TV on mute the beeps stopped (and BTW, the phone is fully charged). I suffer from sinus headaches a couple of times a week, but never had this symtom before.
What do you think it is? Please advise, & many thanks in advance!

Your acute onset of tinnitus could indicate a sudden hearing loss.  See my post on sudden hearing loss at:

See an ENT physician for a full evaluation.
