Does she have a weight issue? Do you withhold food (or not allow her to have certain foods) because your afraid she'll get fat or is fat? The reason most children hoard food is because #1 they aren't allow to eat what they want, when they want or need to eat. And #2 because they are afraid (or don't like) to eat in front of family/friends. This can because they have any eating disorder and don't want family seeing their eating habits. Or because the family is cruel and bullies the child for what they eat and their weight. Hiding food is not normal. Your daughter needs to see professional help for her issues. This isn't something your going to fix by scolding her or grounding her. If she does have a weight issue (either being under or over) she needs professional help to address those issues.
