Diet

I have worked out for three years straight. 5 nights a week. 1 hour of cardio and 1 hour weights. Yet I have not lost any weight. I have been dianosised with high blood preasure, thyroid problems, insulin resisstance and just did get diagnosised with sleep apnea.

My problem is, I have sooo many food allergies that alot of the foods that are good for a diet, I can't eat. Is there anyway I can achieve weightloss with the foods that I can eat?

I eat three meals a day because if I try six small meals, do not work with my schedule. I do try to keep my three meals pretty light and with alot of vegtables but it just doesn't work.

I did at one time take allie before it went over the counter and I was on it for a year and I can only count a handful of times that I had the nasty side effects.

Here are a couple of foods that I am allergic to. Wheat, dairy, nuts and several others.

Please tell me if there is hope for me to lose weight.

There is only one way, and that is to stop eating too much when you are upset or stressed. That is the bad habit of emotional eating. You exercise plenty, you are mindful about what you eat..that is all good. Stop looking for someone to tell you what to eat and start thinking about why you eat too much. But I can assure you that you eat too much. I have never seen a case where that is not true. You can change, and if you want more info about how then go to the shrinkyourself.com website and find out more.

I know exactly what you are going through. I exercise as well, but found it hard to lose weight and keep it off. I had to focus on why I was overeating in the first place. The fad diets did not work and neither did the constant exercise that accompanied my bad eating habits.

The Dr. is correct, although you are exercising you are probably still consuming too many calories to actually see results.  Hopefully, this will be a great resource to start you on your way.
