Food makes me sick.

Yeah, food in general makes me sick. I have an eating disorder. I'm 'suffering' from bulimia, but I recently decided to stop caring. My boyfriend is helping though. Or he's trying his best to. When I eat I feel nauseous afterwards. It doesn't matter if I'm binging or not it all still makes me wanna purge. , but sometimes even when I think about food it makes me wanna puke I get so sick. So, somebody should please tell me why food hates me.

Firstly I would say that you have already taken the first step towards bulimia recovery by admitting that you have this diosorder.Poor body image, low self esteem, history of trauma or abuse, image pressure, breakup in relationships are few of the causes and risk factors of bulimia. Since one of the causative factors is poor body image you need therapy for regaining your lost confidence. I will advise you to stay away from people who always talk about diet, losing weight, weight reduction etc.Avoid reading any such magazines or literature. You need to start eating normally to break the binge-purge cycle. Relaxation exercises, yoga, walking may help. Seek the help of trained eating disorder professionals who can help you regain your health and also maintain your weight. Do keep us posted.
