GERD
lansoprazole DR 30 MG CAP works on my GERD. Pantoprazole SOD  DR 40 MG does not. WHY? What is the difference?

Hello,
Both these drugs are proton pump inhibitors. Their structures are different.Lansoprazole is comparatively new drug compared to pantoprazole.But pantoprazole should also be equally effective in your GERD.Do discuss it with your doctor. Take the medication which suits you best. I hope it helps.
