Need direction

Ok,

I have been on paroxetne since i was 18, i am now 25 and have come off to have a baby, i weaned off and have been off for 3 months, during this time my 27yr old brother died and it was a sickening shock, he died from sudep.

My mother, who has always been mentaly unstable lost it even more and my father has also changed, it's very upsetting for me.

I have now reverted back to my severe anxiety and worry over my health, I am scared of being ill and dying, i have given myself tummy issues for 3 weks now, i am going to go to councelling and this is what my dr advised.

I am not hungry and this is the problem!!!!! i have lost a bit of weight and want to know how to become interested in foood again.

Hope you can help.

Joyce, your loss of appetite is related to your sadness, depression and anxiety, and once that is treated by counseling, and maybe  a medication change, your appetite will come back.

Thank you for your advice, I really appreciate it.

I was wondering how it is that i have this strange anxiety (hypochondria, i think)

is there something i can ask my dr to look for?

I was 18 when i finally went to the dr and i went straight onto paroxetine, felt much better after a few weeks and never came off.

Until now, i wont take anything because i want to have a baby and not one dr or gyne can say it's 100% safe.

I'm not too sure how i will take to talking with a councellor.

Thank you for your time.
