Not sure if my eating disorder caused this or not. HELP

I normally get my period at the beginning of every month. I still did get it at the beginning of August like always....But then I got it AGAIN at the end of August. I haven't had it this month. I'm really confused and freaked out. I don't know if this has anything to do with my eating disorder or what it even means. I am anorexic but I haven't been using diet pills much since July and I only use Laxatives as recomended. It's not like I abuse the stuff. So I'm really confused..Can someone please explain whats going on. I'm 18.

As scarolingari pointed out, EDs and low BMI can mess with your cycle. But the cycle is not nearly as stable or reliable as many people imagine. Even otherwise healthy women often cycle irregularly. Just keep track, talk to your PCP and/or ED treatment team, and get comfortable with the idea that your "monthly cycle" is in reality not necessarily monthly or a predictable cycle.

the ED will definitely mess with cycle, it does mine, ive almost skipped, and have been as much as 2-3 weeks late.  and your bmi is alot lower than mine is, ed just throws the whole system off.
