So, in my late teens to mid-20s, I battled anorexia and was hospitalized many times. I consider myself a recovered anorexic, but one can never truly recover. I still battle daily, but have been able to maintain a healthy weight. After trying for sometime, I am finally pregnant. I was worried I would never be able to conceive due to all the damage i did to my body. How do I stay strong? I need to be strong during the pregnancy and after to model good eating for my child. Due to complications with the pregnancy, I am not able exercise at all. This is tough because I am a competitive runner. My husband is supportive, but we met at an ED group. Does this poor child have any hope?
