Do any other recovering Bulimics ever still have episodes where they randomly or accidentally throw up without warning?
I've generally kept my Bulimia under control the past 2 years, although I've struggled with Bulemia off and on since I was a teenager, some treatment for depression and other things has helped me fight it, although I still smoke pretty heavily, which actually seems to help control my Bulimia as well.
I've just occasionally felt the uncontrolable urge to vomit once or twice a month, even when doing different things. Sometimes its just at my apartment by myself, maybe watching TV or on the computer, othertimes its happened to me in public, like when out shopping for clothes and shoes at Christmas or like yesterday at work when I couldnt stop myself from throwing up all over the floor. It doesnt seem to matter if Ive eaten or not, and I dont get any warning - it just kinda happens.
Are other Bulimics or recovering Bulimics having the same problems? What could cause it? How can I fix it?
