Respiratory & eating disorder

Gia is an Italian greyhound, age unknown, although she was rescued in 2009 and was full grown then.  Several times a month for years her stomach starts crackling, popping, fizzling and making all kinds of weird noises and she will not eat when this is happening.  In the last year she is sneezing and reverse sneezing and my vet can't seem to figure out what is wrong. His last solution was a steroid shot which seemed to reduce the number of sneezing incidents but not the reverse sneezing.  I should mention that her teeth are past needing cleaning but we have not done it because of her other problems and fear she would not wake up. I also should mention that she does not sneeze in front of the vet so he has never seen this behavior.   Gia now is not eating regularly for weeks and I don't know what to do.  Help!

It sounds like Gia would benefit from seeing a vet. There used to be a dog forum on here but I can't find it. It helped my a lot when my dog had kidney disease.
