Tingling sensation caused by not eating enough??

Tingling sensation caused by not eating enough??

I suffer from panic disorder and because swallowing is a problem for me I haven't been eating much. I lost 13 lbs in about a month. It's very hard for me to eat. Anyway, i just finished a little meal And am Having tingling sensations on my scalp near my temples. Feels like something crawling there but I checked and there is nothing.  I have had this once before after eating a hot dog. I know I am not allergic to the foods I am eating so I am wondering if it's due to the fact that I wasn't eating enough and am now trying to eat.  Thanks !!

Maybe my reply won't answer your question at all but I'll share an experience with you.

Many years ago I asked my boss at the emergency station what caused my lips to feel numb and tingly. He just looked at me a while and said:
"you do have a habit of clenching your teeth. When you do that, the blood-circulation slows down in the facial muscles. It's like when your foot falls asleep. As soon as you stop clenching your feet the circulation returns."

Perhaps your tingling sensation is about blood-flow and tension? When you feel the sensation starts, try to un-tense neck-muscles and make sure you don't clench your teeth.

Just remember that when it comes to anatomy, there's not one thing that comes alone. We are connected from head to toe.
