I wouldn't say you would gain weight but it's a habit that needs to be stopped as it is an eating disorder and lke Arti Sharma says can lead to binge eating and also feelings of low self esteem, not to mention all the anxiety that goes with secretive types of eating.Plus it can lead to tooth decay. You need to control any urgers to do this,it isn't the answer, however temping. Not to mention a waste of money! Trust me ive done this and I didn't move forward in any kind of terms of being happy with myself.Good luck. And swallow!

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
It is very unhealthy to chew and spit food. A person doing so is not allowing essential nutrients into the body. Tasting food releases salivary enzymes and also triggers the release of insulin. Excess insulin stirs appetite, making a person feel hungrier; wanting to chew and spit more. It can lead to binge eating and weight gain. It is an eating disorder and needs to be corrected. I will advise you to lose or gain weight in an ideal way through proper diet and exercise. Best wishes!
