eating too much

I cannot stop eating.  I do it all the time, just because.  Im not depressed or anything, and I am not overweight.  Im 5 feet 2 inches and weight 110-115 pounds.  I want to stop and eat healthy meals only, but i crave food 24-7!

It's not about the food so there is something else going on in your life that is causing this; stress, boredom, loneliness, anger, etc.  Really look at the big picture of what is happening in your life.  I just read a good article in the current Glamour and it said to have a daily journal of what you eat to really see how much you are eating.  It also mentioned to list things to do when you are overeating such as go for a walk, read, take a bath, call someone, watch T.V., get a massage, etc. and put that list on the fridge to see.  It was actually a good article spread if you are interested.  Be careful with wanting to only eat healthy meals, you need to eat everything in moderation and never want to deprive yourself.  Once you do that you will start overeating again.  I would also look into seeing a nutritionist because they really do help.  I see a therapist as well as a nutritionist for my eating disorder and it's a great combination.  I think for you to start a nutritionist would be great and then go from there.  I would also look at the types of foods you are eating.  If you are eating candy and such all day that won't fill you up.  I would also look into getting bloodwork done, maybe your thyroid is off?Hope this helps and good luck :)  Hang in there.
