EATING DISORDERS COMMUNITY
i cant stop being sick.

i cant stop being sick.

i dont think i have an eating disorder but this is the most convenient forum. ive been making myself sick everynight for about 2 months. i do it about 10 times a time (i throw up into a bowl thing and stop when i 'fill' it) it isnt even about the weight i lose anymore i just feel vile if i dont, and i cant stop doing it, even when during the day (when im happy with my friends) i tell myself not to and if i do then i have to do soemthing the next day like tell someone something i dont want them to knowbut it doesnt help cause at the time i do it i feel really big and i feel really down. im fed up of feeling like this and its ruining everything. i dont want anyone to find out but its coming to a point where its becoming stupid. and because i have ibs i constantly have a bloated and painful stomach, but it went away untill i started making myself sick how can i stop? please help, thanks in advance (btw im 15 and a girl)

Since you have IBS it is natural I think to start in that end. Find a diet that fits your needs, find out the triggers and educate yourself on the better options diet-wise. Mind me, you WILL find a whole lot of scam-diets out there so perhaps the best is to ask for professional guidance in this?

I mean of course to ask your GP for ideas about what to eat and try take away one thing at a time (to re-introduce it after a certain amount of time to see what happens). You don't need to tell about the eating disorder but you might get a whole lot of support if you do.

Your problem with food sounds as if it is consuming a whole lot of you. It isn't about the weight anymore but about the routine. You might be able to get as far as to quit alone but it is always good to have support. In here, I think that most of us do know how tough it can be to change behaviour. It started out as one thing and became a full-time "obsession" - somewhere it became an eating disorder.

In the right amounts, nothing is harmful.
