hi, i've ben told i may have dissordered eating by friends. Myself i don' t see a problem as i have always been like this.
i tend not to eat or limit my food intake as a way of controlling what is happening around me.I hav'nt seen my doc about this as i'm not sure whether i have a major problem and maybe i'm too set in my ways to change(or i'm just looking for excuses not to face this)
I relly just want an opinion from some-one who knows about these things and to find out whatdamage i' doing cos i must have done some.
Some doctors only seem concerned if you present at either extreme -are either too fat or too thin.
I think that as you have a tendency to restrict what you eat that you may have an issue with managing your emotions.
I don't think talking to a doctor or psychotherapist would hurt but talking to a psychiatrist could be a better place to start. I don't know.
