slurred words

When I go on the Atkins diet I become so weak that I can hardly pick up my feet to walk and my words are slurred. My mind is clear but I just don't have the energy to open my mouth and talk or walk.

The Atkins diet isn't for everybody. Although most people experience lack of energy in the beginning of any diet, you shouldn't have difficulty speaking! My advice would be to try a diet that allows carbs, but only the whole, natural types that are still low of the glycemic level.
